The Native

The Native

Formed at secondary school in Plymouth, The Native will be bringing their electrifying performance to the Tunes in the Park Main Stage on Saturday

Quickly rising in the indie music scene, The Native is an electrifying band now partnered with rock ‘n’ roll tastemakers, This Feeling. Known for their exhilarating live performances and unique blend of raucous anthems and anthemic power, their music draws inspiration from the genre-defying vibe of The 1975, and the formidable presence of Catfish and The Bottlemen and Coldplay. Recently having announced an upcoming EP produced by the legendary John Cornfield and mixed by Grammy Award-winning Adrian Bushby, the band’s potential continues to soar. The Native’s journey began in Plymouth with originals Charlie Noordewier and Ben Andrew and has since grown to include Tom Booth, Harry Youngs, and newest addition, drummer Fergus Segrove. From supporting Bastille in an 8000 capacity show to headlining at Plymouth Pavilions, The Native continues to create stirring music, provoking interest and admiration with every release.
